We are treasured words. We are a small team in South Wales passionate about creating cards which you can’t find on the high-street.

Our Story

The idea started in 2022 when the founders Dan, Alice and Colin began looking for some gifts ready for secret Santa at our workplace. We realised that the cards in the supermarkets and on the high-street were all a little… standard. They seemed all too impersonal, and it seemed like the cards were designed to be enjoyed for a day and then thrown away rather than treasured, and none of them had very good sustainability credentials!

We wanted to change this, so in 2023 we designed our first card… it was terrible! Turns out, making cards takes planning! So we went back to the drawing board and did some planning. Alice had been a designer for many years and our office is decorated in her artwork. So she created some designs and we loved them! We spent about 6 months trying to source paper that was environmentally friendly but also felt really special when held. We then needed a way of printing the cards. We experimented with screen printing, sublimation printing, painting, drawing but eventually settled on ink pigment printing, as this gave us the detail and vibrant colours we loved.

Next was the easy bit, selling! We started an Etsy shop which generated our first sales. Almost immediately our cards started getting positive reviews and we received lots of lovely messages from customers telling us that our cards had made their loved ones laugh, smile and treasure the moment. Our goal was complete!

In 2024 we decided to start a website to bring a bigger audience into our little world of card making and today we still hold that same passion and drive to bring you cards which are treasured!

All our cards are 14cm by 14cm, with a matching envelope. Inside is usually blank, ready for you to write your message in, or if you would rather, we can print your message for you.

Our cards are dispatched in sturdy packaging to ensure they arrive with you in perfect condition

We send our cards out using Royal Mail as standard. You have the opportunity to upgrade to a faster service if you need the card quickly.

We aim to ship out our orders within 24 hours, although this is not guaranteed during busy periods.

We ship all cards with a kraft envelope and dispatch them in hardbacked 'Do Not Bend' envelopes to ensure they are delivered to you in perfect condition.

Our Cards are made from recycled paper and contain no plastic packaging. We are committed to recycle our waste and choose environmentally sustainable processes.
